BMW Warranties.

New Car Limited Warranty.

BMW Canada Inc. (BMW Canada) warrants to the first retail purchaser, and each subsequent purchaser, of Canadian specification vehicles imported by BMW Canada, or sold through the BMW Canada European Delivery Program to be free of defects in material or workmanship.

The warranty period is for 4 years or 80,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first, and begins on the date of first retail sale, or the date the vehicle is placed in service as a demonstrator or company vehicle, whichever is earlier.

As a member of the BMW Service Card, you and any additional drivers of your registered BMW will be entitled to an extensive range of services and benefits, including:

The BMW Service Card provides you with the following emergency services without cost:

Calling for Assistance.

24 hours a day, 365 days a year, BMW Service Card benefits are accessible through a single toll-free number valid throughout Canada and the continental U.S.A.: 1-800-267-8BMW (8269).

The toll-free number is answered by a BMW Roadside Assistance Representative who will promptly arrange for the appropriate service to be assigned to your needs. Please be prepared to provide the operator with your location and the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) imprinted on the front of your BMW Service Card.

Traffic Accident Services.

Should your BMW be disabled in a traffic accident, BMW will reimburse you up to $500 for any of the combined following expenses when not covered by your personal vehicle insurance, provided that your BMW was towed by benefit of BMW Roadside Assistance and/or the BMW Service Card:

• Towing
• Vehicle Rental
• Emergency Transportation
• Accommodation

Multi-Driver Protection.

All BMW Service Card benefits apply for you, your spouse, all family members and any other person authorized to operate your BMW at no extra cost.

Roadside Assistance Conditions and Exclusions.

1. All service operators providing services are independent contractors and are not employees of BMW Service Card. Therefore, BMW Service Card cannot and does not assume any liability or responsibility for any loss or damage to your BMW or your personal property resulting from the rendering of such service.
2. Any loss or damage is the sole responsibility of the servicing facility and should be reported to the proprietor of the facility and your own insurance company within twenty-four (24) hours and prior to any repair being carried out.
